Our scents are a love letter to West African and Southeast Asian heritage—crafted to evoke memory, intimacy, and healing.

As two people living with complex PTSD, Aino was born from a need to create safety through sensory rituals. We believe in the power of scent to soothe the nervous system, bring us into the present, and offer moments of rest and reconnection. Whether it's the grounding comfort of a flickering candle or the quiet intimacy of a perfume balm worn close to skin, our products are made to help you return to yourself.

Each item is handcrafted with clean, skin-loving ingredients: 100% natural soy wax, cotton wicks, and phthalate-free fragrance oils for our candles; and a nourishing blend of jojoba seed oil, coconut oil, beeswax, and castor seed oil for our solid balms.

At Aino, scent is not just fragrance—it’s a form of care. Our work is about reclaiming softness, honoring lineage, and creating space to breathe, feel, and heal.
